Enjoying the nightmare: my first boat-stop

 

The sea: where the terror meets the most pure joy. All the best adventure stories happen in the sea, but do you know what else happens in the sea? Wind, cold, discomfort, narrow places, seasickness, sleep deprivation, the sense that you should have gone through some important training and the feeling that, if you fall, nobody could spot you in all that water. But the dolphins made me feel blessed every single day, nothing breaks the horizon and the sea all around you moves as one enormous, shiny, curly, ever changing mountain of water.
